Does anyone have tips for removing and possibly preventing future tonsilloliths (tonsil stones)? - preventing tonsil stones

I currently have a stone in the amygdala and let the salt water gargle usual. This is the slowest way to do it, though. Do you have other suggestions. I had one before and was able to remove it with a Q-tip, but it requires great precision. This time, I would rather do something that is not likely to put on my gag reflex.
